| Michael D. Whitley, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist in Houston, Texas. He specializes in motivational difficulties and life problems of children, adolescents, and adults. Over 20 years in private practice has provided Dr. Whitley with a unique understanding of this special area of human behavior and, as author and lecturer, he has shared his insights with the public through books, personal seminars, PBS specials, radio and televisions interviews and now through the world wide web via this site. |
| Internet Consultations Internet consultations are designed for individuals who cannot come to appointments at Dr. Whitley’s offices in Houston, Texas. Internet consultations provide educational and therapeutic support for individuals and families through the process of change and growth. There is no charge for inquiries or for scheduling internet consultations. Family Support Services: Family support services are email exchanges, telephone conferences, and video conferences with Dr. Whitley or one of his professional staff. These provide short-term and long-term support for families wanting to use Dr. Whitley's work to help create positive changes in a child or adult's adjustment or achievement life. Fees for these consultations are as follows: Retainer - $300.00 (Initial retainer covers all therapeutic contacts and interviews. After the retainer fee is used, other fees are as below) Telephone Conferencing - $100 per 45 minutes Video Conferencing - $100 per 45 minutes Supportive consultations with Dr. Whitley: Schedule any of the above sessions here.
